So, I’m supposed to get my broadband installed by Vodafone tomorrow, but today I got a text from this number saying an MTS technician will be coming to do a copper installation. The message told me to reply Y to confirm, C to cancel, or D to discuss. I picked D since I really had no clue what they meant by copper install. After that, noone has got back to me, even tho the message said someone from their team would contact me soon. Feels a bit dodgy to me, like it could be a scam.

Just got a call from Morrison Telecom Services saying they’re setting up my broadband installation for Openreach. Sounds like everything’s on track.

Pretty sure I've been duped. Was expecting a plumber to ring me, so when I got a text about scheduling, I just replied thinking it was him. Turns out it wasn’t, so now I’m guessing it was either someone with the wrong number or just a scam.
