I've had a message ping through from this number about PPI as well. It read something like, "We've been attempting to reach you concerning your PPI claim, and we now know the amount you're entitled to. Reply with POST to get your package or STOP if you'd rather not hear from us." Seriously? Is this some sort of scam to fish for my bank info, you absolute jokers?! It's common knowledge that a mobile number isn't the way to go for proper correspondence. Get a grip and go and sort yourselves out!

Claimed to be from a PPI department, stating they held a payment for my reimbursement.
