Got a message from a number saying it was one of my kids, something like "mum ive been so stressed all day. Pls text me on my new number ********* got a big favour to ask xx" but none of my children text like that at all. Pretty sure it's just a scam trying to trick me.

Got a text about someone’s Mum being worried, but it came from one number, and the reply number was totally different. I don’t even have a Mum, so it’s definitely not meant for me. Feels like one of those dodgy premium rate message scams to me.

Got a text from this number on a Sunday morning! It said something like, "Hurt in past 3 years? Check out www.txt-1.info to find out if you can get compensated." Then they added, "Reply STOP to unsubscribe." Bit cheeky to be texting on a Sunday, honestly.
