Got a dodgy text claiming you can make 3.2% every month from some govt-backed crypto thing, saying the income’s tax-free and paid monthly. Was some kinda spam, so I just ignored it. It looked like one of those scammy messages trying to get you to reply YES for details or STOP to quit. Better off not getting involved, I reckon.

Got a message promising 2.8% returns every month from some government-supported stock plan. Said there were no lock-ins, no sneaky charges, and that dividends come in monthly. It asked me to text YES if I wanted details or STOP to unsubscribe. Reported it to the ICO, but didn’t fancy texting STOP since that might just show them my number’s active...

Got yet another dodgy investment spam text today. It’s crazy how these scammers still get away with it - shouldn’t there be stricter rules to stop this nonsense by now? It’s beyond annoying!

Just so you know, texting 7726 isn’t for the I.C.O., it’s actually O2’s spam reporting service (which is quite handy).
If you want to lodge a complaint with the I.C.O., head over to https://ico.org.uk/concerns
Their forms are straightforward and don’t take long to complete.

Like everyone else says, this investment deal sounds too good to be true. Honestly, if you’re trusting those spam messages for financial tips, you really should rethink your choices.

I’ve been bombarded with unwanted messages about some so-called managed investment scheme promising a monthly yield of 4.4%. They kindly offer you the chance to opt out of their updates, but surprisingly, that just leads to an even greater influx of spam! I’ve taken the step of notifying the Information Commissioner’s Office by forwarding the texts to 7726. I’d recommend others do the same to combat this nuisance.

Got loads of random texts about some managed investment thing promising 4.4% every month. They say you can opt out and stop getting messages, but once I tried, the spam just kept coming. I ended up reporting it to the ICO by sending the texts to 7726. Honestly, you might want to do the same to get it sorted.

This has to be a con, promising ridiculous profits from investments. I have no clue how they ended up with my phone number.

Got a random text from this number advertising some UK fixed income deal with 4.4% returns every month. They say no fees and payments come monthly, which adds up to like 52.8% a year. Feels way too good to be legit if you ask me.

They promised me a 5% return every month, which adds up to 50% yearly - there’s no way that’s legit. Total scam!

Got loads of spam texts lately, all about investments and stuff. So frustrating!

Total spam! They dont care about TPS at all. Honestly, the regulator needs to step in, track them down, slap a hefty fine and shut them off for good.
