Yep, this number definitely is Vanquis Bank. I got a text asking me to send over my birth date, but I said no and asked them to call instead. They rang up, and I requested they confirm my full name, when my account started, and the first digit of my birth date - they did without any fuss. After that, I shared the info needed to clear security. Turns out, my card had a failed payment which caused the message in the first place. The lady helping me was called Robyn, really nice and professional. Always best to be careful when giving out info, but this time everything checked out fine.

Next day, got a message from a number kinda like theirs, saying I missed a payment, so I replied saying I’d already paid it all.
