Got a text claiming it was from RBS saying there was fraud on my account. Then another message popped up about three tiny payments that were supposedly blocked because of suspicious activity. Pretty clear these messages were just scams trying to trick me.

Got a message claiming it was from RBS about suspicious transactions, said my account was being used fraudulently. Then I got another text listing three tiny transactions that they said were blocked due to fraud. Pretty clear scam from the start, don’t fall for it!

I got a call from NatWest and they verified the old payments. Amazon also checked and said the payment didn’t go through.

Got some really believable messages about supposed fraud on my bank account! The text said it was from RBS and asked me to reply y or n if I'd been scammed. What worried me was that the two suspicious transactions were identical amounts, which seemed fishy. Also, the original message came from roybankscot, which sounded dodgy. Best to steer clear and block these straight away!

I got a text saying my card was declined for something tiny at a nearby shop, it looked kinda legit since the place mentioned was local. They wanted me to verify if those purchases were mine. Thing is, I don’t even bank with NatWest, so I instantly knew it was a dodgy scam trying to get info.

Today, this number rang me up saying they were from the RBS fraud department. Then, I got a message asking me to reply 'y' if yes or 'n' if no regarding some question about my bank account.

I got a text from 07860028978 saying there was some fraud on my NatWest card, but I don’t even have an account with NatWest! Plus, do they normally use a mobile number to contact you? Definitely a scam trying to phish info. Also, be careful about calls from 08001113312 - I reckon it’s the same lot behind this.

Could be NatWest, but honestly I’m not entirely sure since I can’t really link this number to anything clear. It got tangled up with some dodgy messages from before and after. I've handled what I could, so now it's just a waiting game.
