The caller ID showed this particular number, but there was also a much longer one flashing up. My phone actually spoke the numbers ringing, and it was reading out the longer one. An automated voice said it was from a housing association about a repair. Thing is, it wasn’t the housing association I’m with, and I’m not expecting anyone to do repairs anyway. So I dialled 1471 to check who’d called, and only the 10-digit number popped up, not the longer one.
