Not sure if everyone’s aware, but the government started a new thing today with WhatsApp. Basically, you can sign up to get real info, facts, and updates straight from them. It’s meant to help stop all the fake news and rumours going about. If you want to join, just save 07860 064422 to your WhatsApp contacts and send a message saying Hi to that number. It should then guide you through a menu and explain how it works. I’ve tried it myself and it does seem to work fine.

The only conclusion I can draw is that either Carphone Warehouse or EE has mishandled sensitive information, selling it off to third parties or carelessly leaving it exposed online.
