After reading the comments here about SKY, I’m not sure if it’s a scam or not. I looked into it myself and even spoke to SKY directly. It was strange because the message came from a mobile number and didn’t look like an official SKY text. It somehow slipped past my security settings. I’d say this is risky and could be dangerous. I’ve reported it to both SKY and Action Fraud.

Got one missed call near 5 pm last night, then like 8 more missed calls about 9 pm. I called back but the number didn’t show up. I had just finished doing a Sky survey through messages about a problem with a booster. The number matches the one they used for the survey.

I received a text back in July, and lo and behold, the same one arrived today, 14th November 2021! It’s yet again about my recent transaction with Sky Retail, asking for my thoughts and whatnot. Got a text from this number about an earlier call from Sky, but the number Sky supposedly used is marked as risky on this site. They asked for some feedback which I gave, then said to text ‘Stop’ if I wanted no more messages. After I sent ‘Stop’, they replied saying I was unsubscribed. So honestly, I’m not sure if those calls claiming to be from Sky were real or fake.

I had a chat with Sky's technical support team, and they sorted my issue rather well. Following that, I decided to participate in their text message survey. To my surprise, they posed the identical question thrice, and the second question was repeated just as many times! They did give me the opportunity to opt-out of further surveys by texting STOP, which I did, and they assured me I was removed from their list.
