Got a call from this number on my phone at about 18:29 on the 27th of January. When I checked the caller ID, it displayed a really weird string of capital letters and numbers - something like DCB_ASSOCIATION:WD5SG7P2VEJ77MJPEP4L95TFMGQ9H9UI4. It looked quite dodgy to me, so I reached out to my provider, 02, and let them know. I’m also planning to get in touch with Action Fraud just to be on the safe side.

I'd recommend changing all your passwords straight away and even doing a factory reset on your phone to get rid of any malware or stuff these scammers might have put on your device. Stay safe!
