Received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to be from Optical Express, saying I could enter a competition for complimentary eye surgery. Naturally, I decided to double-check with Optical Express directly, and they seemed completely baffled by the whole thing. Turns out, it’s quite common for con artists to pose as them. What a dodgy affair!
