Got a text from TalkTalk, it said to reply 1 if I was coming, but I’d already sent my confirmation. Just blocked the number now.

Got a message from this number claiming a TalkTalk engineer would visit me on Monday between 1pm and 6pm to install my service. Since I already have an appointment arranged with TalkTalk for that exact day and window because im moving, I thought it was legit and replied. But no reply so far, so I’m planning to get in touch with TalkTalk directly to check what’s going on.

Just like others have mentioned, I got a call about an appointment I never booked. They were going on about charges if I didn’t turn up or cancel. Pretty annoying stuff.

This muppet keeps bombarding me with messages about TalkTalk. Just don’t pay any attention to it. Sounds like some nutter with problems. Fingers crossed they’re onto him and he'll be facing the music in court soon.

Got a text from Carphone on 12th May saying my order was done, thought it was from Carphone Warehouse at first so figured it might be a scam. Then got one from Talk Talk about setting up a new phone and broadband on 23rd May, with a warning about a charge if I miss the appointment. Today, another message popped up confirming the appointment, saying they'll arrive sometime between 1pm and 6pm. They asked me to reply 1 if I’ll be there or 2 if I can't make it, also warning about a fee if I don’t reschedule before midday the day before. Three messages already, and it’s really getting on my nerves!

I got a call from TalkTalk asking for my address for some kind of 999 emergency service. Honestly, no idea where they pulled my number from.

Got a weird message that said it was from TalkTalk. It claimed the emergency services told them there might be an issue with my address they have on file. They insisted they need the exact address linked to my landline in case I ring 999. Then they told me to text back my full home address or call them on 0870 444 1820. Seemed very fishy to me.
