Got a text supposedly from LloydsAlert saying they got a request to add a new payee on the 9th of January at 8.01 PM. The message said if I didn’t know anything about it, I should check out this link: lloydsalert.removal-form[###]. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with Lloyds!

Got a strange message from a number claiming to be Lloyds Bank. They said someone tried to add a new payee on my account on the 9th Jan at 8:01pm. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with Lloyds! The text asked me to visit some link for removing the payee request. Definitely looks like a phishing scam to me. Be careful lads, don’t click on dodgy links.
