Got a call today from someone with a really thick Indian accent, said they were from Lloyd’s bank. They knew our address and my husband’s name, which was a bit creepy. There was a lot of noise like it was coming from some call centre or something. They wanted us to verify info about a money transfer. Problem is, we don’t even have an account with Lloyd’s! Banks never ring you up out of the blue like that. Definitely a scam. I’ve blocked the number straight away.
