I got a text saying there’s a new variant going round and it included a link to get a free test kit. Didn’t even leave the house or see anyone, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

I didn’t tap on the link they sent because I figured it might give them permission to get into my phone.

Someone pretending to be from the NHS called me and said I’d been near someone who tested positive for Covid-19. They told me to get a PCR test and gave me a link to order one. Felt really fishy to me.

I wanted to mention that I’ve transferred £1929.00 to a chap named John Wilson. If this transaction hasn't gone through, please ring up 00 44 800 058 4011. I suspect this could be a scam, as I’ve had a look at my PayPal account and there's no record of any payment. Cheers for your assistance!
