I got a text saying there’s a new variant going round and it included a link to get a free test kit. Didn’t even leave the house or see anyone, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

I didn’t tap on the link they sent because I figured it might give them permission to get into my phone.

Someone pretending to be from the NHS called me and said I’d been near someone who tested positive for Covid-19. They told me to get a PCR test and gave me a link to order one. Felt really fishy to me.

I got a call saying I’d sent £1929.00 to a John Wilson and if I hadn’t, I should ring 00 44 800 058 4011. I checked my PayPal and there’s no record of any payment like that. Definitely a scam, so watch out! Cheers.
