A guy's recorded voice claimed he was with British Telecom and told me my internet would get cut off in a day due to hacking. It said to press 1 if I wanted to call back. Pretty clear it was a scam. Too bad it was just a recording, so I couldn’t even shout at him!

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from BT, saying my internet would get cut off in a day due to hacking issues. He asked me to press 1 to call back. Totally a con, no doubt about it. Since it was an automated message, there was no chance for me to give him a proper mouthful!
