Rang me on 06.01.2021. Asian bloke mentioned my name and where I live. Said something about my Ocado delivery but was all mumbled, loads of noise in the background and didn’t really make sense, so I just ended the call. Seems like a rubbish scam attempt. What’s odd is I had just been trying to book an Ocado delivery, so I assumed it was them. I rang the number back and the Ocado delivery team answered. They told me they hadn't called me at all.

Got a call from an Indian lady saying she was from the Covid track and trace team. She kept asking about my Life Insurance info. I told her I don’t share personal details on calls. She just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a phone call from someone speaking with an Asian accent, and I could hear loads of background noise like a call centre. They said they were from the National Health Service and then started talking about Covid Life Insurance. I told them that life insurance isn’t handled by the NHS and ended the call. These are definitely scams and need to be stopped - so many scared and lonely people might fall for it, and it could really harm the NHS’s image. Someone needs to put an end to these con artists!

A bloke named Adam rang up and started asking if anyone in the house was showing Covid symptoms, whether I used the NHS Covid app, and if I had any thoughts about the NHS. Seemed like he was trying to get me to open up. Then he suddenly asked about insurance - since when is the NHS bothered about that? He gave some dodgy excuse about making sure there was a Covid clause, then went on asking who my insurer was, saying he was "updating NHS records". I just ended the call there.

Some bloke named 'Mike' with a strong Indian accent rang me, saying he was doing an 'NHS database update' (yeah right, my GP already has all that info!). He then started asking if I needed any help from the NHS or government, if I had any symptoms, and even used an old address from about 3 years back. He mentioned something about dodgy insurance firms and that's why the NHS is supposedly stepping in to refresh their records. He was polite, but it was obvious it was just a sales call in disguise.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, she had some of my old info like postcode and part of my address. She kept asking about covid symptoms, I was just waiting for the usual scam line. I gave short answers, like one word replies. Then she asked if I had life insurance, I said no, and she just said thanks and hung up. Guess I’m gonna be getting loads of insurance calls coming my way now :'(

So this number rang me up, sounded like someone from India, and was asking if I use the NHS app. Then they wanted to check my address too. I’m wondering, what if I had told them my actual address?

Just got a call from some James bloke claiming to be from the NHS covid team! Wouldn’t stop asking about my health insurance provider. Got proper annoyed when I told him I didn't know. Ended the call right away! Total muppets!

Tried calling but no reply, so I just blocked the number.

The number showed up on my phone marked as possible spam, so I just ended the call and blocked it straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the NHS, asking questions about life insurance related to COVID-19. They wanted my personal info, which seemed off, so I didn’t give anything away. Felt really dodgy to me!

They sounded like they were ringing from the NHS - some COVID-19 dept or something about life insurance checks. That’s when I got suspicious. I’m NHS myself and there’s no unit like that at all.

So this caller sounded Indian and said they were from some 'National Services' or something. First, they asked if I’d been impacted by COVID. Just as they began asking if I’d considered any private life insurance apart from the NHS, I ended the call.
