Got a text saying my Apple ID was locked and I had to follow a link to fix it. Apple usually emails you if there’s an issue, never sends texts though. When I tried to check that link, my Norton popped up and said the site was unsafe. Definitely dodgy!

I got a message from this number claiming to be Apple, saying my Apple ID was locked. The text asked me to tap a link to verify my info and fix the issue. Something felt off so I looked up the number on here first. Then I typed the website they gave me into my laptop manually - it was something like apple[###].sign-on.services. Turns out it’s definitely a scam. Firefox warned me it was a dangerous site trying to steal passwords or trick you into downloading stuff. I'd avoid clicking any links from this number, pretty sure it’s a con.
