There was loads of background noise like a call centre. A man with an Asian accent and bad English told me he was ringing from Amazon (using a mobile number). He claimed there was a purchase on my account in California that I hadn’t made. He said if it wasn’t me, he’d cancel the order and send me a text with a code to fill in on a website. I hung up straight away and, sure enough, got a message afterwards. Total classic scam!
