Somebody rang up pretending to be from BT, telling me to get on my computer and update my password info. I played along and even recorded the whole thing. Then I asked where they were calling from and who their boss was. When they asked why, I told them I actually work for BT. After that, they started swearing at me, calling me all sorts of names like a bloody idiot and an arsehole for messing about. I then asked if they treated everyone that way, and they just said "Yeah". Quite a cheeky call!

I just put the phone down, thinking they were probably trying to sell me something. I’ve heard that if it’s really from NHS Test and Trace, they’ll verify a bunch of your personal info first, so be careful.

Got a call from some bloke speakin' with a thick Irish accent. He said he was ringin' from the Citizens Advice Bureau and that I owed loads of money. When I asked which debts he was on about, he started listing credit card, store card, and loans. I couldn’t help but laugh right there and then, and he immediately ended the call.
