Sounds like a classic parcel scam to me. I got a message saying there’s a problem delivering my parcel with reference GB09750044 because of unpaid shipping fees, and it included a link. Honestly, they must be dreaming. I haven’t ordered anything, so I definitely don’t owe any shipping costs. They’ve picked the wrong person here - I actually work in the parcel business, so I’m well aware of how all this is meant to work.

On 22/05/21 around 3:25pm, I got a message saying a parcel from something called British Essentials was dropped off today and to follow a link to track it. I'd never heard of that company before or ordered anything from them. I just reported the text to Action Fraud and deleted it straight away.

I got a message from a number I didn't recognise, saying check out an important update about a 2021 ski trip with a link attached. Didn’t bother clicking on it - seems dodgy to me!
