On 4th Nov 2024, I got a message from a number saying "Dad, my phone's been acting weird." Pretty odd to get that out of the blue.

I got a text that said something like "Dad, my phone is acting weird." I'm a young woman with no kids, so there's no way that message was for me! I'm guessing it's some kind of scam trying to trick older folks who might be more vulnerable. I bet the next step would be asking for cash or something like that.
