Yesterday 04/07/24 this number rang me up pretending to be a high court bailiff saying they were carrying out a writ against me and my business for a bit over £3,000. They claimed they’d slapped a CCJ on my credit file and threatened to come to my workplace to seize stuff or collect the money. I told them I wasn’t buying it and ended the call. Later I spotted other stories about this number on here. Sure enough, no one ever showed up at my office - total scam for sure.

This sounds like a proper scam to me. I got a call from someone claiming to be from Chester County Court, but when I asked about the warrant, he couldn’t show me any proof. The bloke even threatened to break my locks to get inside my home! He gave me a phone number he said was for the court, but it turned out to be fake, even had an answerphone message like the real court's. They told me they’d send official papers through the post, but I never got anything at all. Chester County Court have confirmed this is a scam.
