Got a call from a guy, sounded Indian and said he was with BT. He kept telling me there was a problem with my broadband. I told him I didn’t have internet, and he just hung up straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call on my landline around half past nine this morning. It seemed like it might be a mobile number I hadn’t saved, so I answered. But as soon as I did, the line just went silent. Then, within a couple of minutes, I got two more calls from 01453 528571, both acted the exact same way. I’ve gone ahead and blocked these numbers now.

I got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach, wanting to check my internet connection. Thing is, they didn’t even know my name! Plus, I’m not even a BT customer, so I doubt they have any account linked to me. Feels like a total scam to me.

Got a call on my landline from 07856230148. I answered but stayed silent, just listening. After a bit, the caller hung up without saying anything. Saw other reviews saying it’s likely a scam. Blocked the number on both my phone and landline now.

30th July 2109, 5:10pm I picked up but all I heard was a never ending beep.

I got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach. They told me to punch in openreach.site[###] on my computer. When I said I wasn’t seeing what they said I should, the guy got all shirty and annoyed with me. In the end, I just ended the call.
