I got a call from some automated voice, sounded like a guy with a posh accent. He said it was HMRC and that my name had come up in some fraud investigation. Then it told me to press 1 to sort it out or I'd be arrested soon. Funny thing is, they never actually said my name, so they clearly had no idea who I was. This is just shameful, trying to frighten folks into hitting 1 and falling for a scam. It's totally a con. Don't press 1 under any circumstances.
