Got a robo call saying I had to approve a £699 withdrawal from my Lloyds bank. They gave me some code to punch in or press 1 to speak to someone. I hit 1 and ended up speaking to a bloke who claimed I needed to authorise a payment for Halfords in Edinburgh. Thing is, I live in London and don’t even have a Lloyds account! When I asked who he thought I was, he just cut me off before I could say anything more. Stay clear of these calls!
