I never answered when they rang. After seeing all the stuff folks said up here, I went ahead and blocked the number.

Someone called and I guessed it might be my daughter using a mate's phone, but they just muttered something before cutting off. There was a lot of noise in the background and the voice seemed to have an Asian accent. I’m just gonna block the number now.

no clue who it was. I just said hello and the person asked if this was jennifer wells. i told them "no, you’ve got the wrong number." then all i got was a "mmhm" back. sounded like those call centre voices from india. i’ve been getting loads of calls like this from different uk mobiles lately, pretty sure it’s a scam going around.

Rang me but it was so loud I couldnt understand anything, then nobody said a word before they just ended the call.

Been getting loads of calls from different mobiles lately, really annoying. Tried calling back 07855293810 but it just goes straight to a dead tone. Feels like some kinda nonstop nuisance.

I picked up the phone, there was silence for a couple of seconds followed by some muffled noise, and then it just hung up. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone who said they were with the tax office, asking for my bank details to sort out a refund. When I asked them to send a cheque instead, they just ended the call. The voice had an Asian accent.

i usually dont pick up calls from numbers i dont recognise anyway, if its important they always leave a voicemail. plus, my phone number is ex-directory so i know i wont be getting random calls!

My elderly dad gets calls from these people every day, saying he’s got some money waiting for him. There was one caller from Asia who didn’t even speak English properly - told him straight away I’m going to report them to the police with their number.
