Fella with a Glaswegian accent called saying he was from Home Savings Centre. He asked me how old my windows were. No idea how he got my number since I’m on the TPS. Honestly, it’s about time we pointed the finger at the Government for not doing enough to stop these calls.

Got a call from Home saving centre about replacement windows. I mentioned I’m on the TPS so they shouldn’t be ringing me. The bloke said he’d take me off their calling list.

Like a few folks mentioned, could hear all the noise from a call centre in the background. They said it was about some scheme for energy saving, offering grants to swap out windows and doors and that sort of thing. I just let the guy keep talking, reckon it’s their expense for making the call. After a while I got fed up and told him I don’t need new patio doors as I live in a flat high up in a block.

Absolutely infuriating! I keep getting these calls with no one replying at the other end. It's high time I just started blocking them left, right, and centre!

They rang me today but didn’t pick up and just ended the call. Can’t send a message or ring them back cause of the 10 digit number. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

This number just rang me up claiming to be from Home Savings Centre. The lady on the line sounded like she had a Glaswegian accent. What threw me off straight away was her voice - it sounded like she was either drunk, high or had just got outta bed. When I interrupted to say I don’t own a home, she quickly asked who my landlord was. The moment I told her I was about to report her to the police, she went completely silent and just hung up.

From what I gathered during my conversation with the young lady, it seems this pertains to home renovations; I have a hunch it involves grants. She was exceedingly courteous and didn’t have any discernible accent, so I doubt it was from an overseas call centre. I’m quite baffled as to why local councils or government bodies don’t promote the grants that are up for grabs and take measures to put a stop to these unsolicited calls.

Got a call around 6:30pm saying it was from Home Savings Centre. Didn’t notice the odd 9 digit number straight away, but I cut them off sharp once I heard the typical call centre chatter before they even introduced themselves.

At first glance, it seems like a UK mobile, but actually it's missing a digit. So I'd say don't bother calling it back! You have no idea what kind of fees might come with it.

Got a call on my landline and they said something fast, like ‘i’ve been removed’ or smth. Tried calling back from my phone but it just hangs up. At least i can block it on my mobile, now need to figure out how to block it on my home phone too.

Got a call from them on Thursday about 6pm. I have the BT 8600 phone that has a blocking feature with t####. The 'Guardian' mode is pretty clever - it makes them say who they are, puts them on hold and then rings me so I can listen in. So far, no scammer has dared to speak when they know I can record it, guess they dont want to get caught.

Got a call outta the blue from someone saying they were from “the home savings centre.” He was going on about how i might be able to get some kinda funding. Told him we are on the tps list and that this was an unwanted marketing call. When i asked for some contact info for his company, he said they “don’t have any contact details”! Ended the call right after.

caller said they were ringing from ‘hsc’ but when i asked what that actually meant and why they were calling, they just wouldn’t say and hung up after demanding i confirm my name first. not happening!
