Somebody rang me saying they were from Microsoft, saying hackers were trying to get into my computer. When I refused to let them control my computer remotely, they threatened to shut it down. I had to get quite firm before she finally ended the call. She already knew my name, address, and even a Microsoft reference number. If she really was from Microsoft, why was she calling from a mobile phone?
