No one just calls you outta nowhere to chat about bank stuff, even if they’re genuine. There’s way too many fraudsters these days. They should just tell you to visit the branch in person to sort out any account issues - that way you’re sure you’re dealing with the real deal and not some dodgy scammer.

I received a voicemail that talked about transferring funds from my Amazon account, urging me to ring back on a specific number for further clarification. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Somebody phoned me pretending they were from Natwest, saying they had to check my account details. They said I could sort it right then on the phone or pop into the branch. I ended the call and got in touch with my actual bank to check. Turns out it was a total scam, no shock there!
