I received a call from this number today, and to my dismay, they followed up with a couple of text messages claiming that if I forked out £59, they'd reclaim my bank charges. Honestly, I'm quite annoyed and decided against sharing my bank details as requested in those messages. The website mentioned was bcrsonline.co.uk, and the chap I spoke to on the phone was rather dodgy, to say the least. Is this number, 01554780055, potentially a scam? By the way, I’m with O2.

I received a call from this number earlier today, and shortly after, I got two text messages claiming that if I fork out £59.00, they would retrieve all my bank charges. Feeling quite sceptical, I didn't disclose any bank details. The texts included a website address - bcrsonline.co.uk - and the chap on the phone also gave me a direct line: 01554780055. I'm starting to wonder if this is just a scam. By the way, I'm on the O2 network. What do you reckon?
