On 27th Nov 2024, I got a call from a number starting with 477299 but it had a local dialling code which made it look genuine. Couldn't find any info about the number on Google. The person claimed there was some suspicious activity happening on my bank account mentioning big cash deposits. They never said which bank though. I hung up straight away and looked at my account - nothing unusual at all. Later, I contacted my bank and they told me it was almost certainly a scam trying to trick me.

Just got a call earlier today but the person just hung up straight away when I picked up. Tried looking up the number on Google but couldn’t find anything. Not sure if it’s some kind of scam or what.
