I picked up the phone and all I got was a recorded message, sounded just like the EE voicemail voice, saying something about my Amazon account being charged £799.00. It told me to press the hash key to stop it. I didn’t press any button, just ended the call. Checked my account and thankfully no money had been taken. When I tried ringing back that same number, it told me I’d hit my spend cap and needed to press something to sort it. Total rubbish!
