I got a call from a number claiming to be HMRC, with this robotic voice saying I could face prosecution over some issue about importing stuff. The message told me to press 1 to talk to someone. I did, and when I asked who was calling, they wanted my name and postcode. I asked for more details for clarity, and they just hung up on me. It felt dodgy, like a scam trying to trick you into giving personal info. I haven’t brought in anything, legal or illegal, so it really seemed suspicious to me. I’d be careful with this number.
