Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon saying there’s been a big charge on my card for an order. When I asked about it, this lady just said, no worries, I’ll refund the money to your account, but she never asked for any bank info or anything! Felt really fishy to me.

Got a call on my landline today at 8:39, but the moment my answerphone kicked in, they just cut off.

Got a call from a bloke who said his name was John and that he was ringing from BT about some 'problems' around here, wanting me to run a speed test on my computer. Seems dodgy to me - I seriously doubt he was really John or worked for BT. I told him my son’s a BT employee (which he isn’t, just wanted to see what he’d do) and that he’d be back in five minutes, so could he ring back then? Right after that, the line just went dead. Pretty sure it was a scam.
