Got a call from an Indian bloke who sounded like he was in a bathroom or something, telling me I owe money and it has to be settled. When I asked him a few questions, he just hung up. Now he keeps ringing me non-stop every morning, even after I’ve blocked the number!

They claimed to be from some debt investigation company. I asked them what they do exactly and they just said debt advice. Then they just ended the call. Totally seems like a scam to me.

1.15pm on 27th August - got a call from this number. A bloke called Peter, sounded Asian, was chatting away in the background like a busy call centre with people all on the phone. He said it was about my debt and he wanted to help. Thing is, I don’t have any debt at all! I told him he was talking nonsense and dropped the call straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the NHS. I asked him multiple times if that was true. Then he started asking if anyone in my family was over 65, if we'd had covid, whether I had life insurance and which company. That's when I decided to just end the call.

Some bloke called claiming to be from the NHS asking about COVID symptoms in the house. Then he wanted to know if we had any health insurance apart from the NHS. I felt a bit iffy and asked how he’d got my phone number. He said it was through the council, so I asked which one. After that, he suddenly said he couldn’t hear me properly and the line was terrible (even though it was crystal clear for me) and then just cut off. No clue where he found my details from.

About ten minutes ago, a man with an Indian accent rang asking for someone named Mr Cameron. I’ve honestly lost track how many times I’ve had calls from this number looking for him. I’ve told them off and told them to remove my number because they clearly got the wrong one. After checking this number out, looks like I was right - it’s a scam. Next time, I’m just gonna tell ’em to get in touch with Dave Cameron at the House of Parliament in London.

I have a feeling this was a scam, got a call from someone saying they're from the "Credit Investigation Department". When I asked what company, he said "UK Money Advice". He claimed I owed some unsecured debt and asked if that was right. I told him to hang on while I checked out his company on the internet. He just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with the citizen advice bureau, asking me to confirm my name which I didn’t. He said I owed money and that he could help sort it out. This bloke from India calling himself "Barry" rang me up trying to peddle some Covid 19 miracle cure. He had no clue who I was, just calling me ‘mate’ all friendly-like. When I asked where he was actually from, he claimed he was with the NHS in London but gave no proper details. Then he went all strange, calling me an "English Covid bastard" before slamming the phone down. Looks like I caught the grumpy one! Honestly, best to just ignore these scammers. But if you wanna, have a laugh - waste their time and mess with them a bit.

Just got a call from this number, the bloke claimed he was from some government credit check agency. He said he could merge all my debts into one with zero interest. Sounded quite believable but when I asked for the company name and where to check it online, he couldn’t provide any info. Seems like a total scam to me!!

Got a call from a bloke pretending to be with Trading Standards or some rubbish like that, saying they could assist me with my debts - which I don’t have any btw. I told him I owed the bank £2 million and he replied, (and I’m not joking) “why are you even alive? You should just go and die,” then he hung up straight away.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent. I asked him straight up if he was trying to sell me something or if it was a scam. He said he wasn’t selling anything. So yeah, scam alert! Then he claimed to be from some credit company and said he could help me with several unsecured loans I supposedly have. I told him I don’t have any debts at all. But he kept pushing that I did and that their help would be great for me. I asked how I’d even need their help when I’m clear of debt. After that, he just hung up on me.

I picked up the phone and, as usual, it was some citizen advice about debt. I was at work so I told the guy with the Indian accent to just email me the details. He kept trying to get me to talk but I said I was too busy and asked him to email me instead. Before I could even give my email, he just hung up on me.
