I received a call from this number around lunchtime today. There was quite a bit of commotion in the background, and as soon as I greeted the caller, they hung up immediately. We suspect it’s related to O2, as my partner received a similar call and is on the exact same contract as I am, yet our upgrade isn't until August. I'm grateful you pointed out that these companies typically don't conduct upgrades over the phone-I'll keep that in mind the next time a call comes through!

Received a call earlier today. They rang once, and just as we were about to pick up, they hung up. Quite the peculiar situation!

I received a call from this number during my lunch break today, and it was quite a ruckus on their end! Just as we exchanged pleasantries, they abruptly hung up. We've got a hunch it might be linked to O2, since my mate got a similar call and we're both on the same contract. The thing is, I'm not eligible for an upgrade until August. I'm grateful you pointed out that they don’t handle upgrades over the phone; I shall definitely keep that in mind for future calls!

A chap mentioned that she works as an O2 advisor, and truly filled us in on our contract details. She was spot-on with the information about our weekly payments and the phone we currently possess. She even said that since our contract is nearing its end, she could sort us out a smashing deal. We replied that we'd prefer to browse the latest phones available first, and she promised to give us a bell the Wednesday just gone at noon. However, we heard absolutely nothing from her. Oddly enough, when we popped into the O2 store to have a look at the phones ourselves, the manager mentioned that O2 doesn't actually make calls to customers about contract renewals!
