Got a call from a bloke who sounded very much like he had an Indian accent, claiming he was from Microsoft. He said my account was hacked because my laptop supposedly sent them a warning. I told him my laptop hasn’t been on in ages (didn’t mention I mostly use my iPad), but he kept saying he was definitely from Microsoft. I found it odd they’d be calling from a mobile number! I tried explaining that my laptop couldn’t have sent any alert since it’s switched off, but he just wouldn’t listen. So, I ended up just hanging up.
