Absolute scam! Got a message supposedly from Halifax Security sayin I’d paid £270 to some Mr Adams on the 9th of November. I never did that payment! Obviously a fake, but if you get one, don’t click anything, just ignore it or contact your bank straight away. So dodgy!

Got a message saying I booked a payment of £69.99 to some bloke called Mr Adams for 3rd Nov. I’ve not set up anything like that, so watch out everyone! If you didn’t do this, they tell you to check your account on some link ending with halifax-security-check. Definitely seems dodgy to me.

Then they said if I didn’t do it, I should cancel it by clicking some link halifax.approval-request[###]. Seemed fishy to me, probably a scam trying to steal info. Watch out for this!

Got a message from +44 7949 437476 saying a payment to D P Turner was set up on 17th Oct at 18:28. It seemed pretty official, but I don't recall making any payment like that. The text told me to cancel if it wasn't me, with a link to halifax.new-verify.link. Felt a bit dodgy to me, so I ignored it just in case. Thought I'd share so others can be wary too.
