Got a call from an unfamiliar number the other day. I just picked up and left the phone down, didn’t say a word. The voice on the other end was an automated one talking about some kind of debt management. If it had been a legit company, they surely wouldn’t be calling from a dodgy mobile number like this. I’ve now added a note to that contact so I know what it is, and I’ll just keep letting it ring through, hoping they’re the ones wasting their time and cash, not me.

Received a couple of calls back to back from numbers looking almost the same, apart from a few digits swapped. Just now got another from a similar sort of code.

I dunno who it was cos my phone didn’t even ring, but it showed a missed call from this number. Weird thing is, at the time it supposedly called, I was holding my phone! So no way it actually rang. Somehow they left a missed call on my phone without making it ring at all. No idea what they hope to achieve by that. I just blocked the number - seemed like the simplest fix.
