Got a robotic voice telling me to press 1 to chat to an operator. Didn’t really hear it properly but reckon it was something about DWP and debts. I just ended the call since it was on my mobile.

Had a call from an Asian guy, but honestly, his accent was so hard to follow I didn’t catch his name properly. He claimed to be from some credit company, but I couldn't understand which one. He said I owed money, but I told him straight up he’s either a scammer or someone’s playing me for a fool, ‘cos I’ve not got any debts. I said cheers and hung up - probably too polite, but then I blocked the number! :)

Got a call from "Debt Capital" saying they got info that I owe money. When I asked where they got that from, cos it wasn’t me and I hoped not my creditors, they just cut the call. Seriously, don’t share any details with these lot.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a government office about debts I supposedly owe, which is rubbish 'cause I’ve got none! Told them to stop ringing me and he then threatened the police would arrive in half an hour????? Complete muppets! Honestly, the government really needs to get a grip and put an end to these annoying calls!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent, been ringing me for days now. He was going on about some debts connected to National Insurance. I asked him why he’s calling from a mobile if it’s about National Insurance and then just ended the call. Also, I can’t block the number which is annoying.

He claimed to be from the "office of fair trading" but that place doesn't even exist. It's a total scam. Just block and blacklist these cheeky scammers.

Got a call earlier from some bloke overseas saying he was from "Britain's top charity" before going on about helping me sort my debts. I told him to actually find proper work since his dodgy spiel was rubbish and his English was terrible. Then I tried jokingly to order an Indian takeout off him and well, he just hung up. Lovely!

It’s some kind of debt help firm, but honestly, looks like a total con to me. ??. I’d just block the number to avoid getting any more rubbish offers from them.

A guy with not the best English told me he was from the CAB and was ringing about my debts! Problem is, I got no debts. I asked him to take me off their list but he just ended the call. I reckon because they use mobiles for these cold calls, they can just keep phoning nonstop. No matter how many times you block one number, they just ring back from another cheap mobile with a new number. This really should be stopped. What sort of 'company' uses mobiles to do this?

Just got a call saying I have unpaid debts and that 2 people are on their way to my house. Told them I don’t owe anything, told them to get lost, then ended the call and BLOCKED the number.

There was a long pause at first, then a bloke came on the line asking for this woman I've never heard of, so I just hung up.

guy called me and said his name was 'edward'. if thats true then im bilbo baggins haha. he said he was from citizens advice bureau but as far as i know they dont ring people out of the blue. seemed like he was trying to get info from me. i refused to say anything about myself and asked him some questions, then he just hung up. definitely smelt like a scam to me.

once again got a call from one of those so called debt advice centres. reported it straight away. they claim they dont do cold calls but it sure feels like it. they tried telling me i owed money which is rubbish cause i dont owe a thing! fed up with these calls, happens pretty much every day now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Citizens Advice about debts, but it's a scam. I tried passing the number to my local Citizens Advice centre, but no one picked up. They told me they never get in touch with people like that. Definitely don’t hand over any info to this number!
