A guy called himself Steve and went straight into some government scheme spiel. I tried to mention that we're on the TPS list but he just kept interrupting. Eventually, I said I was hanging up. No sooner had I done that, he called back and my husband picked up. This time he said he was from GPS and was talking about insulation. My husband told him to never ring again. Honestly, it sounded like the bloke was munching on something while he was talking!

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from an energy firm, saying he wanted to chat about some insulation work supposedly done at my place. I told him no such thing had happened and guessed he might have dialled the wrong number. Then he suddenly got loud and all agitated, saying I was mistaken. When I told him I’d definitely know if any work had been done, he just hung up on me. Looks like it was probably a scam, but I can’t quite figure out what kind.
