Got a call with someone speaking in an American accent claiming to be from HMRC, saying a letter they sent me was returned. They asked me to press 1 to talk to ‘a security officer’. Totally a scam, so I just hung up and blocked the number.

Got a robo call about a £700 charge on my visa card. Thought about hitting 1 and giving them a piece of my mind, but my husband told me to just end the call. Loads of scammers out there these days.

So the caller said sorry, must've dialled the wrong number, then asked me what number I was on. Honestly, sounded like some kind of robot to me.
