Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying I owed money. I told her straight I don’t have any credit cards and she just said alright and ended the call. Best to block the number and don’t pick up if it rings again.

Even though I keep blocking them, these calls just won’t stop. They keep claiming I owe money, but I explain that I’m a stay-at-home mum here in Australia with zero loans or debts. I ask them to remove my number, but they still persist. Lately, I’ve started telling people to text me first or give me a specific code so I know it’s okay to pick up.

The number rang and I think it was from India, they mentioned my name but the moment I asked who they were, they just cut off. These sorts of calls are pure spam or scams, honestly they should be stopped or fined for wasting people’s time.

I'm so over these calls! Someone rang me but just dropped the call. I’m on the TPS, but it doesn’t seem to matter when the call is from abroad. Does anyone know how to actually block these annoying people for good? It’s driving me mad!

I received a call from a bloke named "Alfred Michael," claiming to be part of some "credit investigation team." He went on about my supposed unpaid debts. When I pressed him for details on who I owed money to, he just cut the line! Very dodgy, if you ask me! 😡

Just got called again today, the 12th, and also on the 8th July, by some bloke with a foreign accent claiming to be from Citizens Advice, telling me I owed money to the government! Honestly, I don’t know why I said sorry and then just ended the call.

The phone rang and this bloke said he was calling from the Citizens Advice Bureau, claiming he could assist with some debts that apparently showed up on my credit report. But when I began probing about the details, like who the debts were with and the amounts, he just ended the call. Surely, this isn’t above board, so I’m planning to file a complaint with the Telephone Ombudsman about the whole thing.
