Got a call saying I’d been close to someone with covid, but it was obviously a spam call.

Got a dodgy message telling me I’d been near someone who tested positive for COVID and that I needed to arrange a test. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

got a text sayin "NHS-UK health dept: you’ve been near someone who tested positive for omicron recently. you need to book a PCR test now: your-pcr-test.com" - that last bit is a link. did not click it coz felt a bit dodgy, don’t trust it at all.

I gave the number a ring and it immediately went to a Vodafone voicemail, the call dropped straight away. Virgin Media’s call protection flagged it for me.

Got a call pushing me to book a free PCR test through some NHS link. I’ve got the NHS app and there’s absolutely no mention of that anywhere. It’s just a sneaky trick to charge you 99p for postage and swipe your bank info. People will try absolutely everything these days 🙄
