I’d just ordered some stuff online and the thing happened to have “china” in the name. So when I got a text saying “your parcel with china ems (epacket) is on its way,” I didn’t think twice at first. Looking back, it’s pretty clear now it was a scammer trying to trick me or maybe even get malware onto my phone. Best advice - don’t open that message or tap any links, just steer clear to be safe.

Got a text about a Sports Direct parcel being out for delivery with a link to track it, but I never ordered anything from them. Total scam! Definitely don’t click on the link.

Got a text just after midnight saying "delivery failed, let us know when to try again" with a DHL link. Bit weird for DHL or any delivery firm to be texting someone at 12:09 in the morning, seems dodgy to me.

Just got a text at 00:09 saying "delivery failed today, please let us know when to try again" with a link for DHL. There's no way DHL or any legit courier would send a message that late in the night. Definitely fishy.

Got a text saying DHL will be dropping off a parcel and to download some app to keep an eye on it. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Twice now I've got texts pretending to be from DHL, but the links they sent looked totally dodgy. Definitely trying to scam people with those fake URLs. Be careful if you get one like that!

Got a text saying it was from DHL with a tracking code, but I’m pretty sure I’m not expecting any DHL parcels. Didn’t click on the link, just left it alone. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Got a text saying "dhl: your package is on its way, track it here [hnjialif####] domainI" which is obviously a scam trying to get me to pay something. I’ve only just given my number to a few places lately - NastyGal through Hermes, Dr Martens parcels coming by Royal Mail and dpd. So I reckon one of those shipments is getting spoofed, but watch out, don’t click the link!
