I got a call from 07851 298464 claiming I was involved in a tax fraud case, and they wanted me to hand over my info and settle things immediately. I just hung up and blocked the number. Honestly, I’m fed up with these kinds of calls and having to keep blocking them all the time.

got a call from a strange number with a foreign accent couldnt make out what they said so i just ended the call. havent had any other calls from them but it made me a bit uneasy. tried calling back but no answer.

On the 31st of July 2020 around 8pm, I got a text from 07851144554 pretending to be PayPal saying my account was being "restricted". There was a link included telling me to click it to fix the issue. Obviously, I knew it was a scam, so I reported it and blocked the number straight away.

Got a missed call, no voicemail left. When I tried ringing back, it just said I’d dialled the wrong number and to double-check it. Why am I suddenly getting loads of these again? I’m on the TPS and my number’s ex-directory. It’s odd, cos for three nights running now, weird calls keep popping up from numbers marked as dangerous. Honestly, what’s the point of the ICO, TPS, or Action Fraud? I report all these every time, but scammers keep at it year after year, whether through calls or emails, and the regulators don’t seem to do a thing, since these dodgy numbers just don’t stop!
