Honestly, I found it quite amusing, I threw out loads of bogus names and he got proper annoyed. No chance I was buying his story. If this bloke rings you, just ignore and block him.

They said they were from O2 and told me they were switching off 4G to roll out 5G instead. At first, it seemed genuine since they weren’t asking for anything. But then they threw in an offer of 40% off my contract - that’s when I realised it was a dodgy scam.

This number called me about 10 minutes ago. I didn’t pick up and let it ring through to voicemail. The woman on the other end, sounded indian, didn’t seem to notice she was leaving a message. I could hear a lot of strong accents in the background, they seemed to be chatting away - probably trying to scam others while being recorded. They’re relentless. Blocked now.

Just got a ring from this number, some Indian guy claiming he was from O2. He told me my number would be disconnected in two days and mentioned loads of complaints. I told him straight away I don’t even use O2 and ended the call. Now I’ve blocked the number. Watch out for this one.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, trying to pitch me a deal. I told them I wasn’t bothered and ended the call. Thought that would be the end of it, but they rang me twice more after that! In the end, I just blocked the number.
