Got a call from some UK refund dept, but I reckon it’s a call centre in India. The lady on the phone had a really strong Indian accent and gave me the wrong house number. She just hung up after about a minute and a bit. First time I’ve ever had a ring from that number, definitely feels like a scam.

Got a call about some supposed ppi refund I was owed. Just a heads up, don’t trust it - it’s a total scam!

This number called me saying they were from some PPI refund group. I told them I've had loads of calls like that, I don't even have a bank account and to stop bothering me because it’s obviously a scam. Then he started threatening me, said he’d call every hour, every single day, and even stuff about hacking my gadgets and showing up at my house. I’m honestly shook now - can they actually do any of that? 27

Got a call from a woman who wanted me to give her my personal info.

this woman called and wanted me to verify my postcode and address, and tbh, that’s when i just said no thanks and ended the call.
