Weirdly, the number showed up as +447850596727 on my phone’s caller ID. A lady with an Indian accent called herself “Daisy from O2.” She claimed my SIM was about to be switched off - I said that better not happen. Next, she said they’d send me a new SIM card and offer a 30% discount as well. When she asked for my email, I gave her one I use to catch out scammers. She kept asking if I’d got any emails from them, but I hadn’t received anything. Loads of times she had me repeat the email address back to her.
